SUSANNAH’S TRADE IMPACT
Susannah has encouraged many new jewellers into the trade over her 7 year career, giving crucial advice and connecting people in the trade.
Susannah is passionate about keeping the jewellery trade alive, so regularly offers advice to new-comers into the trade. Two of Susannah’s team are purpose-trained from scratch, being taught almost entirely by Susannah to create jewellery. This aligns with Susannah’s ethos that jewellery education should be accessible, and designers should not gate-keep the trade from others.
SUSTAINABILITY
The jewellery trade isn’t always a pretty industry, and we don’t pretend that it is. Mining and sourcing can come with real social and environmental costs, and it’s important to acknowledge that honestly. That’s why we choose to work only with trusted gem suppliers and use recycled gold.. It’s not a perfect solution, but it’s a conscious choice—and we never greenwash or overstate its impact.
